We staff experts in their field who want to serve patients in a clinic that they manage and direct. PT Solutions goes the extra distance to serve our patients because we live in the communities that we serve.
Q: What is physical therapy and how can it help me?
A: Physical therapy is a movement science that assists patients recovering from various impairments. At PT Solutions, we work with patients who suffer from many conditions, including:
• Body pains – Neck, shoulder, back, hip, knee, ankle, and foot
• Postoperative conditions
• Balance impairments
• Muscle weakness
• Frozen shoulder
We use non-invasive treatments such as manual therapy and exercise to reduce pain and functional limitations as well as to restore movement. These treatments are evidence based on the medical literature.
Q: How are your physical therapists trained?
A: Physical therapists are required by law to graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program. Today, potential physical therapists study at the graduate level, after completing undergraduate study in the basic sciences. For a therapist to enter the physical therapy field, a Clinical Doctorate degree is now required. PT Solutions requires our physical therapists to complete graduate level programs and many have either received or are pursuing their Clinical Doctorate.
Q: Are your physical therapists licensed?
A: By law, PT Solutions requires our physical therapists and physical therapist assistants to be licensed by the respective state boards of Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Additionally, all states require continuing education and ethics courses for therapists to maintain their respective licenses.

This prescription must be from one of the following types of physicians:

A PT Solutions’ physical therapist will review the information provided by your referring physician. Next, the therapist will examine your medical history and the current problem. Based on this information, your therapist performs the appropriate physical therapy examination, develops an individualized treatment plan, and begins interventions.

Please bring or wear shorts or loose-fitting sweats. We offer space and privacy to change.
Q: Will you communicate with my physician?
A: PT Solutions takes pride in its relationships with referring physicians. Our therapists communicate with your physician about changes in treatment plans and return visits to the physician, or when discovering unforeseen issues related to treatment.
